Each year we offer some of our herd for sale to manage our herd size and keep a good diversity and balance of genetic descendants. Our herd health is managed without the help of chemical dewormers, allowing our sheep and goats to develop natural resistance. Rotational pasture grazing helps keep parasite loads in check, and we have successfully incorporated herbal dewormer formulas as part of our normal supplement process for five years. Genetically our animals are primarily either boer (goats) or dorper (sheep). We continue to be impressed by the number of triplets born and successfully raised each year by our nannies.
